Her Story: When Everything Collided at Once

During the pandemic, so many things collided at once for Bridget.

Her oldest daughter was becoming a nun - something Bridget now sees as a blessing, but at the time it felt like grief. Her middle daughter moved back home to do college online (and adopted a cute but crazy dog). Her youngest left for college far away.

After 22 years in the city of Chicago, Bridget and her husband moved to a town of 1,500 people. Her husband was now working from home. And this lifelong “city girl” felt everything shifting.

“My identity was shifting and I had no direction.”

Then the perimenopausal symptoms hit.

Twelve pounds, seemingly out of nowhere.

Severe night sweats.

Exhaustion. Moodiness.

Her first panic attack.

As she puts it, she had “all the things.”

Feeling Seen Again

Bridget found Dr. Tabatha the way so many women do - down the podcast rabbit hole.

Every time Dr. Tabatha spoke, Bridget thought, “Yes, that’s exactly what I feel like!”

“I felt like someone heard me, actually understood what I was going through. I felt seen again.”

When Dr. Tabatha opened Fast to Faith to the public, Bridget signed on. She had nothing to lose.

She wanted guidance and a plan that addressed her symptoms at the root cause. No easy, quick fixes.

It was time to take back control - body, mind and spirit.

“This is not a diet, this is a lifestyle. And leaning into God is the ultimate support system.”Bridget Gross

The Moment She Said Yes

Health, beauty and fitness had always been Bridget’s thing. She had started looking into different coaching programs, but nothing resonated. They all seemed to be missing something.

Then Dr. Tabatha announced her coaching program on the podcast - with the missing piece: spirituality.

Bridget was walking back from the gym. She can still remember the exact spot on the road.

“I looked up to God and said ‘YES.’”

Coaching Changed Her, Too

Coaching gave Bridget a “seat of authority” to share what she knows.

She used to mention fasting and get pushback - even after reading at least seven books on the subject by well-respected doctors. Now she has a newfound confidence that she’s leading women toward healing.

“I am not an MD, and don’t claim to be one. But because of Dr. T, I have the knowledge to be confident in my abilities.”

Her spiritual life has grown exponentially. She now reads the Bible daily - cheered on by that nun daughter.

Her faith used to be a private thing. No longer. Now she leads by example, and with words.

“He definitely had a plan for me, which I knew nothing about.”

The Most Rewarding Part

Even as a newer coach, Bridget is seeing the impact. All three of the women she’s coaching have released weight - but that’s not what moves her most.

It’s watching them grow in confidence.

Trust the process.

Build a lifestyle that lasts, with guardrails in place.

And stop apologizing for making themselves a priority.

One client’s text made her sob, because she knows the mountains this woman is climbing:

“I tried on one of my favorite pair of pants and they fit!! I’ve gone down three sizes. Thanking the Lord for answered prayer.”

“I am awed by the strength of these women and I am inspired daily.”

Thinking About Becoming a Coach?

If you’re on the fence, Bridget says to do it for the knowledge.

“Learn to heal yourself. You will feel so empowered that you will want to share it with others.”

God put her here to share what she learned through pain, so other women can heal and grow. Maybe He’s putting you here, too.

Bridget’s Message to the Woman Who Puts Herself Last

First, make yourself a priority. You are worth it.

This program is much easier to follow than you think.

“When you put God first and put yourself right there behind Him, nothing can stop you.”

And when you are healed and whole, you can be a better support and comfort for your family.

Put your oxygen mask on first.

Get to Know Bridget

Her Morning Rhythm

Prayer for wisdom, 20 things she’s grateful for, a quick stretch, 32 oz of water while the coffee brews, then 30 to 45 minutes of prayer and journaling. Then it’s “go time” - with the gym right after quiet time.

Her Anchor Scripture

“Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14

She strives to be humble and let love be the reason for every action she takes.

Something You Might Not Know

Bridget started modeling at 13, on a whim. She has traveled the world and built her life on moxie, spirit and a strong work ethic.

Her Biblical Coffee Date

Bridget would choose Mary, the mother of Jesus. Her “yes” is the reason we have the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Bridget would ask her what it was like to have an angel visit her, and how she had the grace to know God so fully.
