Sammy Lewis, Fast to Faith coach

Her Story: Losing the Joy

Sammy grew up in church with her family - and still attends that same church today.

For more than 20 years, torn and stretched tendons in both wrists limited the work she could do, even though her passion was working with kids.

She kept volunteering with the kids at church, thanks to the volunteers and staff who made sure she never hurt herself more. But over the last few years, she was losing the joy she once had.

Low energy.

Horrible sleep.

An autoimmune diagnosis with no clear answers.

Anxiety and extra weight.

“I have tried many diets. I’ve lost count. Nothing was helping me until I found Fast to Faith.”

A Leap of Faith

Sammy first heard Dr. Tabatha on Candace Cameron Bure’s podcast. She looked into Fast to Faith, but it seemed like other programs she’d tried, and the price felt like too much.

Then Dr. Tabatha released a shorter program inside Candace’s Together Community. Sammy decided it was time.

Two weeks into her 21-day program, she felt the Lord telling her to go to Dr. Tabatha’s in-person event. She already had more energy and better sleep - but she knew that if she stopped after 21 days, she’d slip right back.

Hearing the testimonies at that event, she made the leap of faith and invested in herself: the 40-Day Program with 1:1 coaching.

“I don’t know where I would be if I hadn’t said yes.”

More energy.

Weight released.

Better sleep.

And she’s closer to God than ever.

“Let Fast to Faith be your last because it will become part of your life you won’t want to give up.”Sammy Lewis

“Too Shy to Coach”

Just as she was starting her 40 days, Sammy made a Facebook post inviting family and friends to join her, so they could start feeling better too.

Ashlee saw it and commented that Sammy would make a great coach.

Sammy’s first thought? “Hold up.” She was too shy and too quiet. There was no way she could coach.

But every day, she felt little nudges. So she prayed and asked God for a clear sign. The very next day, Dr. Tabatha announced a call for anyone interested in becoming a coach.

“I joined the call and realized that this is where God was leading me.”

She hadn’t even finished her 40 days. But she knew.

Coaching Changed Her, Too

“Coaching has helped me to find my voice to help others and I’m not the shy quiet person I once was.”

Sammy grew up with a strong faith that she thought was good enough. But daily Lectio Divina showed her there is so much more - a daily, all-the-time relationship with God.

And hearing other women share their stories has helped her understand how to walk with women through things she may not have gone through herself.

The Most Rewarding Part

Sammy has seen the power of the faith part of this program, and she believes it’s why Fast to Faith worked when nothing else did.

Her favorite part of coaching is watching women grow closer to God and find healing in Him when they didn’t think feeling better was possible.

And her very first client loved the program so much that she joined the Coaching Academy to become a coach herself.

“I can’t wait to welcome more women into the Fast to Faith Sisterhood and show them they can be whole again.”

Her Morning Rhythm

Drinking her coffee while doing her Lectio Divina.

Her Anchor Scripture

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

And her daily reminder: “I am a princess, I’m the daughter of The King.”

Something You Might Not Know

Sammy lives in her flip flops all year - even in Michigan winters, as long as there’s an inch of snow or less! She wears them at Disney World too, open to close, 20,000+ steps a day.

Her Biblical Coffee Date

Sammy would choose Mary. She’d love to hear Mary’s story - and trade stories about Jesus when He was a child.

What Could Be Waiting on the Other Side of Your Yes?

Sammy came to this journey tired, losing her joy and out of options.

She found energy and rest again.

She found her voice.

She found a daily walk with God.

Your story doesn’t have to look exactly like Sammy’s. Your first step just has to be yours.
